Amy Wood has been a certified trainer for Safe & Together Institute since March, 2012. Amy received a Master of Social Work degree from Ohio State University. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the child welfare field. She is currently a training supervisor, who develops curricula and provides on-the-job training for child welfare caseworkers. Amy had the unique opportunity to be part of Ohio’s implementation of a Differential Response Child Welfare System. Amy has trained and consulted with CPS agencies within Ohio and in other states regarding their implementation of change management and supervisory coaching. Amy has experience working in the domestic violence field and completed a year-long internship as a group co-facilitator at a batterer intervention program.
