The Safe & Together Institute and Berry Street are delighted to partner to host the 3rd Asia Pacific Safe & Together™ Model Conference in Melbourne on the 27 and 28 February 2020 – save the dates in your calendar now!
Featuring David Mandel, Executive Director of the Safe & Together Institute, our program will showcase promising practice from around the globe. It will bring together practitioners, policy makers, academics and leaders from across child protection, child youth and family services, family violence, men’s services, justice and mental health.
We are designing a program that will be rich in content and interesting to all levels of familiarity with the Model including attendees of prior conferences, persons who have been trained and professionals new to the Model.
The conference will include keynote presentations, skill building and discussion in concurrent sessions as well as networking opportunities.
Abstract Submissions are now open and we look forward to receiving your submission by 25 October 2019.
Each conference showcases current and emerging practices and research using the Model. Pre-conference trainings showcase promising practices from North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Safe & Together™ Model CORE Training, the beginning course, is offered before every conference so each attendee has foundational knowledge of the Model. Master Classes allow those with Safe & Together certifications to take their practice to the next level and explore advocacy and Supervisor Training.
