Safe & Together Institute Title IV-E Curriculum Statistic Evaluation

An independent Title IV-E curriculum evaluation, completed in April 2024 by Scott Willsey of Scott Willsey Consulting, found that Safe & Together Institute’s Core Training, Supervisor Training, and five foundational courses meet the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administrative Function criteria for the 75% Title IV-E Federal Financial Participation (FFP) training reimbursement rate, with one conditional exception for Supervisor Training. The evaluation gives state and county child welfare agencies a documented basis for claiming federal reimbursement when qualifying personnel, including agency staff, foster and adoptive parents, court-appointed advocates, and contracted child welfare personnel, complete Safe & Together training.
